Nylon Disc Set
CHARACTERISTICS
The nylon disc set is an alternative to the duralumin disc set. It has the same size, availability, capacity and usage as the duralumin model, however, it is made of a self-sliding material and is about 30% lighter than the traditional duralumin model.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Nylon disc sets are available for capsules from size 00 AL, 00, 0 AL, 0, 1, 2, 3 to 4.
The use of this disk set model is indicated for very abrasive and/or hygroscopic powders, such as magnesium chloride, and also powders that stain when in contact with aluminum, such as simethicone, for example. Since its made from a polymer, this disc cannot be heated above 45°C (ie. it cannot be dried in an oven or with the help of dryers or thermal blowers). This model also does not allows further repairs since is made from a plastic polymer.
