Flexibility for your capsule filling parameters
The ESA 11,000 semi-automatic capsule fling machine allows to customize all encapsulation steps: from the speed at which the capsules are inserted in the disk set to the strength which capsules are closed, everything can be adjusted according the needs of each product. With an output* of 11,000 to 12,000 capsules/hour, the ESA 11,000 performs the three main operations involved in capsule filling: placing the capsules on the disk set, feeding and compacting the powder inside the shells, and closing/locking the capsules.
Its capsule feeding head has an inverter that allows programming the speed at which the capsules are placed on the disk. The powder feeding unit also has a frequency inverter that allows controlling the speed the choice of the powder compaction level inside the capsules, and also the number of turns of the disk under the feeder head. The capsule closing unit works with compressed** air and allows to regulate the pressure which the capsules are closed.

In ESA 11,000 the encapsulation process can be divided into 3 steps:
Step 1 - Feeding the capsules
The equipment directs the capsules into the disk set at the same time that a vacuum system opens the shells. When the disc set is filled, the capsule feeder head is automatically shut off.
Step 2 – Powder filling
The capsules are filled with powder automatically. The powder feeding unit has powder compaction level adjust, speed adjust, and also the number of turns under the powder feeding head.
Step 3 - Closing and locking the capsules
A pneumatic system** performs the capsules closing and locking and allows to regulate the pressure which the capsules are closed and locked. Avoiding wasting product due to capsules that eventually dent during closing and locking.
